Isabel Díaz Sánchez is Senior Lecturer at the English Department of the University of Alicante, where she teaches Modern English Literature and Eighteenth-Century English Literature. She obtained a position as a lecturer in Arizona State University (College of Languages & Literatures where she completed the PhD programme in Spanish Studies. She wrote her dissertation on Chicano/a Writers and Latino/a Literature in the U.S. Her primary research focus has been in the field of Chicano Studies, but her most recent interests are focused on the Long Eighteenth-Century.
